The worst experience with lab services in my whole life. I was advised by my doctor to immediately take tests so I came to the LifeLab located at 2300 Eglinton Ave. Mississauga. I was refused the service. The receptionist told me that I had to make an online appointment prior to the visit , while their website says that "Medical referral required for most tests, bring doctor's (Ohip) order form * no appointment necessary for most services". There is no information which services require appointment what is totally misleading for customers (I had only ordered blood test). I kindly asked receptionist to register me for an appointment but she also refused to do this also. I would like to mention that the lab was completely empty- no customers there. It looks that Covid-19 is a great excuse for some institutions and employees are being paid for just a sitting - and not serving customers. Complete contrast was observed by me at the Dynacare located nearby. Dynacare serves both, those who made appointment online and also walk-in customers. I took only several minutes to get professional service there. Moreover, social distances are respected in Dynacare, and sits in waiting room are separated. I highly recommend Dynacare and advice to keep away from Lifelab which simply does not respond to customer needs.
