Dr. Alyssa E. Markowitz & Associates

I have been Dr. Markowitz's patient for a number of years. She made a specific decision to keep a smaller practice than her dad, with the result that she has the time to spend with the patients, and to accommodate their needs. Recently I missed my scheduled appointment through an error of my own, and when contacted, I was told to just get there as soon as possible, and she would work around my schedule.


I find Dr. Markowitz to be personable, friendly, very competent, and accommodating of patients schedules. Because her practice is smaller, she can take the time to discuss results with her patients.


He equipment is steadily being updated, so modern analysis is applied to the ecamination of your eyes.


The glasses dispensary portion of the business is run by Rebecca, who is difficult to not sit and chat with. She makes sure that and glasses sold are absolutely correct for your needs. The inventory of frames is not extensive, but Rebecca will bring in the frames you want, and will deal with the manufacturer should there a problem arise with either the lenses or frames. Contact lenses are checked regularly, and if necessary, they will take back for refund and unopened boxes when a change in contact lenses is required.
